Niki May Blane, Family celebrant in Horsham, Sussex

Weddings and baby naming ceremonies in the South east.

I Do Ceremonies is the family celebrant service from Niki May Blane. I'm an experienced journalist, producer and qualified celebrant based in Horsham, West Sussex.

Planning my own festival-themed wedding in 2014 I realised there was a lot in common with my work writing and producing films. Finding decorations was like sourcing props, coordinating the bridal party was like managing a team of actors and writing my vows was like writing a script.

Being an unapologetic romantic I began to dream of a new and exciting career helping others to celebrate the special moments in their lives.

I've since gained a diploma in family celebrancy from the UK Society of Celebrants, immersed myself in the world of weddings and brought two beautiful daughters in to the world.

Why choose I Do Ceremonies?

These are not your average stuffy ceremonies. My priority is giving you what you want, even if you don't know what it looks like yet.

Using project management and storytelling expertise I deliver seamless, engaging ceremonies that you and your guests will never forget. They are beautifully written, and tell your unique story.

Celebrant-led ceremonies can be held anywhere, at any time and in any way. There's no civil or religious restrictions so the only limitation is your imagination.

If any of these sound like you, I could be the celebrant for you:

  • You have a laid-back personality

  • You’re into the idea of a festival/boho/forest wedding

  • You want your ceremony to reflect your personality
